TO OUR CURRENT & POTENTIAL SPONSORS:

The Verl Smith Racing for V.E.T.S. team would like to thank all our sponsors and associates for a great 2006. Without their collective efforts of hard work, race equipment and dedication, we would not enjoy the success we are today.

I also thank you, in advance, for your consideration in becoming a part of this outstanding Harley-Davidson racing team. It has always been a privilege to race and represent quality sponsors and our team will continue that representation with the highest standards. I look forward to speaking with you to discuss any further questions or expectations you may have.

Sincerly,

Verl "Smitty" Smith

Racing for the best, and racing for the Vets!

VERL SMITH RACING FOR V.E.T.S.

(Veteran’s Education Toward Survival)

Verl Smith Racing for V.E.T.S. is an organization dedicated to helping U.S. Veterans in building a new life. Drag racing Harley-Davidson motorcycles is an American dream. The dream is made larger and more significant when the racing can provide assistance to our Veterans.

To make this dream a reality requires a team of highly experienced, motivated and well-trained individuals. Our objective is winning. And our mission is to educate new members of this team and provide jobs for those Veterans allowing them to be productive and restore their personal independence and commitment to their own future.

Having been a very strong contender in 2006, pursuit of the 2007 title has begun preparation state. This team is committed to the sport, safety, winning and delivers a firm commitment to sponsors as we invite you to be a part of the 2007 team.

American Iron magazine (….for people who love Harley-Davidson's) was so impressed with Smitty’s drive, skill, professionalism and passion for the bike and sport, they featured him in the April 2006 issue, which we attach for your review. With his compassion for Vets and advocacy of sobriety yet his incomparable zeal for racing Harley's, they refer to him as “…one of the most sedate madmen you’ll ever likely to meet.”

Verl Smith Racing for V.E.T.S. is a dedicated team of professionals with 32 years of substantial technical and racing experience. Their accomplishments and commitment to Harley Davidson drag racing is significant for marketing quality products and their specific brands each year

With the growing popularity of motorcycle riding and drag racing storming the globe, Verl “Smitty” Smith brings an accomplished, dedicated and inspired team to represent an American Dream icon while continuing to build interest, attendance and competition in this exciting sport.

Verl has run a very successful 13 years of racing in the AHDRA (All Harley Drag Racing Association) and, more importantly, has qualified in the quick eight at each event. Smitty is a first-class professional racer with a professional attitude and image on and off the track. His knowledge, experience and passion for the sport contribute to the success of this team and positive representation of his quality sponsors.

Traveling over 60,000 miles, visiting more than 50 shops, and the overall visibility of sponsor brands both during and outside the racing season result in an increased awareness of not only the AHDRA, but also your company name and products. Your name and logo appear prominently on all racing trailers, vehicles, promotional material, and the motorcycle itself. Any promotional material you may provide is also made available at each event.

A quality team, quality equipment and quality sponsors translate to winning. Sponsors are critical to the success of any racing team, and we invite you to be a part of Verl Smith Racing for V.E.T.S. in 2007!
